Placing Color

News update from our friend and Harrington Road summer resident Kayla Mohammadi. She will be participating in a group exhibition at Boston University from March 17th thru April 24th. We love her work, especially her paintings of Walpole! If you are in the Boston area between those dates – go see  Placing Color  at the Sherman Gallery, 775 Commonwealth Ave – don’t miss out!

Winter’s not over yet!

Scenes from the annual ice harvest in February at the Thompson Pond, South Bristol. This year the ice was 22″ thick! It will last all summer packed away in the ice house. The Thompson Ice House which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is dedicated to the remembrance of the ice industry in Maine. It is open July & August 3 days a week or by appointment.
